About The Support Brigade

We have emerged as a sponsored organization of all assigned Soldiers (married and single), DA civilians, volunteers and their Families (immediate and extended) that together provide mutual support and assistance and a network of communications between Family members, the chain of command, and community resources. We encourage resiliency among the members by providing information, referral assistance, mutual support, and activities that enhance the well-being and esprit de corps within the unit.
Community Involvement and Development

It has been said that “a rising tide lifts all boats.” At The Support Brigade, we’ve always believed that if we can help the individuals, families and businesses in our communities to thrive, both economically and socially, then we all win. The Support Brigade has a deeply rooted sense of corporate social responsibility. Over time, we look for ways our activities could further benefit societies in a broader and more meaningful context. One way to do this was by matching our social principles to our business principles. We are committed to improving the quality of life and enhancing the vitality of the communities in which we operate. Through our corporate social responsibility initiatives, we provide support to causes reflecting employee and community interests by the means of employee volunteer efforts and corporate initiatives.

Volunteer Work

Our volunteer initiative provides valuable community services so more money can be spent on local improvements (estimated value of a volunteer's time is $20.39 per hour). It allows us to unite people from diverse backgrounds to work toward a common goal while promoting personal growth, camaraderie, and teamwork. Below are some areas that we currently focus on; however, please contact us if your community needs volunteer work:

  • VA Site Volunteers

  • Airshow Volunteers

  • Habitat for Humanity

  • School Events
