
Charlie Fisher

Colonel (ret) Charlie Fisher serves as President, Board of Directors - National Director for The Support Brigade. He brings 26 years of military experience and leadership to the organization. Fisher oversees day-to-day operations and works with the leadership team to set and implement the organization’s strategic vision. He is responsible for ensuring that The Support Brigade’s free programs and services continue to have the most significant possible impact on the service members, caregivers, and families we serve.

Throughout his career in the Army, Fisher served in a variety of command and staff positions, including Company Command of the 515th Transportation Company during Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003-2004, Battalion Command of the 710th Brigade Support Battalion, 10th Mountain Division, and Brigade Command of the 401st Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) (in both Iraq and Afghanistan). He has served on both the Joint Staff and the Army Staff. He is airborne and airborne rigger qualified and received his Combat Action Badge during Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003-2004. He received three Legion of Merits, the Bronze Star, and numerous other awards and decorations consistent with a long career in uniform.

Fisher received his commission from the University of Central Florida (1997). He has an MBA in Aviation Logistics from Embry-Riddle University, an MS in Logistics and Supply Chain from Syracuse University, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the US Army War College. He is married with four adult children.
